Our Activities
A wide range of activities are an integral part of the AMBER initiative. We organize the AMBER network meeting at least twice a year to exchange ideas about industrial 3D printing. These events bring together participants from companies, startups and science. The aim of this platform is to introduce and connect new players, develop joint strengths and expertise in the field of Additive Manufacturing, discuss innovative solutions and promote new business models in cooperation with industry.
With the AMBER Spotlight series, a new event format was created that highlights Additive Manufacturing in various technological and application-relevant areas. For example, the kick-off event "AMBER Spotlight on: Sustainability x Additive Manufacturing" addressed various perspectives on sustainability. We will also be organizing Tech Tours in the future, which will look at different areas of 3D printing technology and applications in greater depth. In addition to joint trade fair appearances (e.g. AM Forum Berlin, Formnext), regular delegation trips, so-called Tech Journeys, will be offered for international networking. The destinations addressed are regions that also focus on Additive Manufacturing as a key topic and therefore offer high added value for participants in terms of internationalization. The last delegations therefore went to Israel and the US East Coast (New York and Boston). For 2025 New York & Boston is again the destination for the Tech Journey.
