Grand opening of the interactive AM showroom at BAM
The Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) opened an interactive showroom for additive manufacturing on October 9 as part of the QI Digital Forum 2024. The opening ceremony was conducted by BAM President Prof. Dr. Ulrich Panne and Kai Hilgenberg, Head of the Competence Center Additive Manufacturing. The showroom is primarily aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and offers practical insights into the latest 3D printing technologies and digital quality assurance.
