17.-18. March 2025

What a blast! The 9th AM Forum in Berlin.

The 9th AM Forum Berlin 2025 kicked off with a spectacular pre-event at the legendary Hotel Adlon - in the style of the 1920s. State Secretary Dr. Severin Fischer from the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises welcomed the international audience to this historic location in the heart of Berlin, before the community dressed up for two days of intensive professional exchange.

On March 17 and 18, decision-makers and experts met at Europe's leading AM user conference. Under the motto “Beasting AM applications in industrial production”, the 700 international guests were offered a varied program. As an official partner, the AMBER AM Cluster presented the first results of ongoing R&D projects from the capital region:

Project 1: optiMAL - Optimization of manufacturing processes for additive laser applications

Project 2: MikroG - Ultra-compact production cell for filament-based manufacturing of metallic/ceramic components under microgravity conditions

Project 3: ESAF - Development of an integrative satellite structure through the use of additive manufacturing processes

Project 4 – SAMBA - Efficient additive manufacturing of aluminum at peak absorption using a compact 1 kW diode laser module emitting at 780nm

Project 5 – MultiCarb3DBeton - New insights into 3D printing of concrete with fibre reinforcement

Project 6 – ProAStra Dental - Additive/subtractive manufacturing of root analog implants

The final highlight: exclusive on-site impressions were offered by the optional AM tours to Gefertec, Quantica, BAM or BMW Motorradwerk Berlin.

Two days full of AM power, with insights into the latest developments, applications and networking.
